New Freebie Template Series starting today

I have started a new series of Templates just for you :) These templates are Number templates ! I have started designing them with a celebration theme in mind, but I think they are easy enough to use however you would like too :) They are available in PSD and PNG format. They will be available for a limited time and then be available in my CLD store.

I also have a new kit coming out in the CLD store on Monday. It is called "Aliens" and it was a lot of fun to make. It has a heap of papers and elements and a whole stack of cute little Alien Critter stickers. It also comes with a complete lower case Alpha with numbers and some punctuation. My first assignments as a TSG CT

This is my first layout as a new member of TSG CT team. I chose "Faith, Hope and Charity" by April Sevigny, available here, to work with and thought this picture I had suited the thoughts behind the Kit well. This pic was taken on a trip to Port Arthur in Tasmania. It is of trees planted to remember our fallen Heroes. It was a very emotional place, full of history!

I used a Template I had designed as a basis for this layout and it is available in my CLD Store here.

My second layout for my assignment is a series of photos I took of some of the members of my family at Port Broughton in South Australia. We went fishing off the jetty, although I didn't fish, I took pics LOL
I have used April Sevigny's "Faith, Hope and Charity" Kit once again and this is a completely different approach to the use of this kit, but I think it works :) I have also used a template by April for the Blueprint of my Garden Challenge at The Scrapping Garden.

What first attracted me to this kit were the colours. I love Blue and Purple. I found this kit perfect to create emotionally inspired layouts. The papers are gorgeous, lightly textured and subtle colouring. I also liked the folded corner on one paper; it added more interest to my layouts. The belt element is nice to use to tie everything in on the layout and the journal box is beautiful, light and fragile. Check it out here.

Color Challenge at The Scrapping Garden and a Freebie

I have just completed a Mini Kit for the Color Challenge at The Scrapping Garden. This was a hard one to do as the colour pallette was all tone on tone. I hope you like what I have come up with.

Bragbook Challenge at Color Line Design

Over at Color Line Design, there are a lot of Challenges going on, and one of them is a Bragbook Challenge. This challenge is held over two weeks with a new template being provided to work with each fortnight. This is my take on the July Bragbook Challenge 1. Head over there and grab a free template and give it a go ! If you participate in three or more challenges, then you can get the Mega Collab Kit for that month for FREE ! now there's a bit of an incentive to get creating!

Guess What !! more pages for your ABC QP Album

Finally, I hear you gasp, some more pages to complete the ABC QP Album. I have worked really hard to get these all to you and this will now complete the Album! I am going to leave the entire set up for another couple of weeks so grab it while you can for free, as it will then be placed on sale in my Color Line Design store.

PNG file for template available

I have spent the weekend working on how to make PNG files and think I have it figured out :) I have a link for you to grab the PNG file of the Template if you are interested. I also made a layout with the template using my Beachcomber Kit and Pebble Alpha available at Color Line Design.




We went camping for the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend. Gary (DH) and Nicholas (my son) caught these little Whiting and brought them back to the caravan to show me. Nicholas had a lot of fun being silly with the fish as I took photos. Only he nearly took on more than he could chew, as when he held it up to his mouth, the fish slipped and he nearly had it in his mouth LOL

I have also posted a revised file for the PSD template freebie. Turns out that I had the background layer still as greyscale, which makes for a small file but when you drag another paper onto the original, your paper turns into greyscale... not very helpful LOL . So if you are having problems using this template, use this link (larger file, sorry) to get a revised file. Don't forget that the password to snag either the PSD or the PNG file is "create" without the quotes!

Results for TSG CT Contest and a Freebie

The results are in for the CT Contest at the Scrapping Garden and guess what ..... we all won !! Thank you all for your support. Now begins another adventure :)

I have a freebie template for you today. It is PSD format as I still haven't really got the hang of saving individually in PNG format yet. Just a simple one, but I will be putting some more up for sale in my store at ColorLineDesign soon. I will also be back with some more pages for your ABC albums, but we are camping at the moment and I've almost used my monthly allowance in Internet time in the last two days :) so these might have to wait til I get home.

More trauma with our car. We had a suspension check done on Friday and discovered we need a new ..... everything ! another huge expense, which we can't afford :( But, on a brighter note, Gary (DH) did fix up my 2nd eldest daughter's car a bit. She had some nit drive into the back of her at the end of January 08. She is still waiting to here from the guy's Insurance company, but in the meantime, has been driving around with a damaged front seat and a rear bumper that keeps rubbing on the back tyres. Yesterday, her seat gave way and broke, but my darling managed to get one in good nick from the wreckers and install it for her. He also cut away a bit of her bumper and screwed it to the underside of the car body, so it doesnt rub anymore and she doesnt need straps to hold it out of the way anchored in the boot!
