New layout for SAS

These are some photos of my son making a snowman in his first experience with snow, in the middle of an Australian Summer! How did this happen you ask?? We were on holidays in Tasmania, and on Christmas Day it snowed on the top of Mount Wellington. We went for a visit up there on the 26th December and the place was packed with people all having the time of their lives. It was so strange. we had just spent the day on the water out of Hobart having a lovely cruise and then made snowmen in the afternoon. What a fantastic world we live in!

I have used the SAS Nov08 MegaKit, and a template by JasJul provided for the Nov08 template challenge, also at SAS.

New layout for SAS and a freebie Quickpage for you!

Here is my second layout for SAS from "Aussie Nature" by AmboWife Designs. This layout is of some Banksia flowers that we saw whilst on our trip to Tasmania. These flowers were huge as you can see by the comparison against my DH's hand. I have never seen such huge flowers on a Banksia before, or since, these ones.

I have also made this layout into a quickpage freebie for all of you to enjoy.

Hi there, here is a freebie quickpage I have created out of my layout for SAS CT team. I have used AmboWife Designs "Aussie Nature" and a template by Acmdesignz

This kit is just gorgeous for creating layouts with your Australian photos. This is, of course, quite easy for me 'cos I live here, but lots of people visit Australia every year, so if you are one of those visitors, consider this kit to scrap your Aussie Nature pics!

New freebie for you

Well, our Autumn Blog Stroll has finished and I am a bit sad that it has come to an end even though I kept messing up the time difference and the downloads LOL and, of course, I have also finally finished my Alpha Templates :) What shall I do next I wonder ?? Any suggestions ??

Well, here is one...... as I am now a member of the SAS CT team, I have been making QPs to go with my layouts that I have been creating, and it has been suggested that I share them on my Blog.... so here is the first one :)

I have used Julie Cohen's "Colourful Autumn" available at SAS and a template from "BracketRacketTemplates" by Connie Prince/DigiDiva Designs

I have also created another layout using this kit and a double template I designed from a sketch I found. I don't know where the sketch originated from as I have had it for years on my backups, so if anyone knows its origin, please let me know!

These are pictures of my Daycare children and my son just being themselves. It was a gorgeous day so they could play with the water, and later on, they got dressed up! I love these pics of all their gorgeous smiles!

Busy, busy, busy....

I have BIG news!! I have been accepted as a member of the CT team at Stone Accents Studio. I have been involved with this site for a while, mostly making mini kits for their Color Challenges, but now I am an official member of the site and I am over the moon!

I have received my first Kit to work with and it is a gorgeous kit by a new Designer at SAS named mITSYBELLE. It is called "Summer Fun" and it is lovely. Particularly relevant to me here in Australia as we are heading into the summer months and it was very easy to use. Here are a couple of layouts that I have made using this kit. I have used Template for both of them that I have designed, layout one is Template 17 and layout two is Template 2.

This is a picture of my son, Nicholas, enjoying Vacation Swimming program in January of this
year. He had an absolute ball. Nicholas loves to swim!

This is a photo of my son, Nicholas and his friend, Haydn, on a trip to Torquay, Victoria,
in January 2005. I love this photo of the boys "Heads Down, Bums Up" searching the sand for
treasures as only small boys can.
