New Layout for Chris's CT

Hi, I have just finished a layout using Chris's Butterfly Edges available in the Store. I love Butterflies so as soon as I saw this file I knew it had to be one that was added to my collection :)

I have used Chris's file digitally by taking the AI file into Illustrator and saving it as a PDF. I was then able to open it in Photoshop CS3 and work with it as a digital file. I applied a glitter style to the file which I thought was quite effective. I have also used a digital scrapbook kit called "Love Buggies" by Kristin Aagard.

This is a photo of my DH, Gary, whom I adore!

Thanks for looking :)

New template freebie #2

Here we go, another template freebie to use with all those kits you have lying around :) Enjoy!

This template has always been one of my favourites, and seems to be popular with others as well, judging by the download numbers. If you have downloaded it before, don't fret, another one will appear in a week. If you were unlucky enough to miss it last time I offered it as a freebie, then now is your chance to grab it!

New Mini Kit created

Hi all, well I am sweltering here in New South Wales, and it probably isnt that hot to some of you, about 30C, but I would give it up for some of Pam's snow LOL

However, I have been working away and have created a kit for the Colour Challenge at ColorLine Design. The colour swatch is shades of blue and I hope you like what I came up with.

New freebie Quickpage for you

Hi there, hope this finds you all well and happy. Congrats to all my American readers on your new President... I hope he lives up to all our expectations!

Just to keep you busy scrapping though, here is a new quickpage created using Skrapper Digitals "Baby Genius" from SAS. I also used a template I designed for this layout.

This is a group of photos taken in 2005 of some of my Daycare Children playing with the cars and the trains. As soon as I saw Skrapper Digitals "Baby Genuis", I knew that it was perfect for these pics.

Out with the old... In with the new

Well, more news... I am no longer a member of the CT over at The Scrapping Garden as I resigned yesterday. End of an era as my days as the "Stirrer Extraordinaire" .

I am however, a new member of Chris Durnan's CT, a Designer of files that are used primarily by physical scrappers with access to cutters (Craft Robo, Pazzles, Groove, KNK etc).

I have already taken part in a couple of her challenges at her Forum and here are the layouts that I have created. Now these layouts have been created by using Chris's files as digital cutter files and blending them into my digital scrapping. It has been an interesting introduction to thie world of hybrid scrapping and as soon as my KNK Maxx arrives, I will be also be able to use these files as additional elements to my paper and card layouts as well. Check out the Blog to see what her other CT have been up to.

Here is my layout for the Sketch Challenge in the Forum. As you notice, I do love these pics of Nicholas messing about in cricket, so loved the fact I could use them again in a different way.

The next layout is one I created for the Make It Your Own Challenge. This has used a Musical Jumble mat which I have been able to fill with colour and add a texture to, to use as a digital file. Cool hey!

Have a great day wherever you are and thanks for looking....

New freebie Quickpage for you

Hi all, I thought I would pop in and surprise you with another freebie. Pam has been so busy with her fantastic freebies, I don't want you all to forget me LOL

Here is another layout I created with PiggyScraps "Soothing Daisy" available from SAS.

These are a couple of photos of my son with some fish that he caught whilst camping. He was very proud of his catches, especially as most of the time, he was doing better than his Dad!

Checking in :)

Hi all, well hasn't Pam been busy for you making all these freebies for the Colour Challenges going on. I am currently in Adelaide visiting family, my sister got married yesterday, beautiful wedding and the weather was kind, 33C which was warm but not too bad for the Australian Summer. I am meeting my sister, another one, who is over from Japan with her hubby and my new, although he is 8mths old now, nephew. I met him yesterday at the wedding but today we get to spend a bit more time together.

I am on limited internet access whilst away, using Mum and Dad's at the moment, so it is great to see Pam taking advantage and still posting here for you. Another week and I should be home.

Have fun, and have a great day wherever you are !

On Vacation

We received another beautiful layout using Midnight Clear -- this time from Susie aka sweetheaven.

And I just love the fact the she also used Caz's Template #25. I just can't stop looking at this layout, it's so great! And those kids are having a blast in that snow. So Susie, your bonuses are on their way to you.

It is bitterly cold here today with a wind chill in the minus numbers. But we still have to go out to a party (of sorts) -- thank goodness for our garage!

Have a super New Years' Day all and keep smiling!

Hugs,

Pam
