New freebie

Digital Scrap Garden is running a new Colour Challenge this month to use Pink and Purples in your layout. Funny how you can look at a colour and think.. easy peasy... and then find out it is not as easy as you first thought. I always try to include new things in my kits and not have them look like each other and like all the other kits out there. Wonder if I am achieving this. Do you feel you are getting the same stuff over and over, just different colours?? Please leave a comment and let me know. I would love to know your thoughts.

My new kit is called "Purple Haze" and will be available in 4 parts so make sure you come back and get them all. I hope you like it.

Link to download Part One HERE Link removed. OMGosh!! I am such a twit! Password to download is "lavender" without the quotes. Please leave a comment if you download, I do read them all.

Someone left me a comment a few days ago as to whether I had anything in Black/Gray/Brown. Just wondering if you could comment again and tell me what theme you were looking for please.

Have a great day wherever you are!

New freebie!! Citrus Flower

At the very the last minute, true to form, I decided to create kit for the Digital Scrap Garden Colour Challenge for July! The colour theme was Yellow, and I thought when I was creating it, it was primarily Yellow.... but looking at my preview, it seems more orange and lime!!

still.... I am happy with the way it turned out anyway! LOL

Link to download Part One HERE Link removed. Password should it be required is "tart" LOL (without the quotes). Please come back over the next few days to collect the remaining parts!

Please leave a comment if you download as I really appreciate them all!

New freebie and THANKYOU!

I am blown away! Yesterday I posted about Gary having surgery and people left comments wishing us well. Thankyou all so much, I really appreciate that you took time out to comment even though you weren't getting anything in return!! I did manage to speak to him last night and he sounded a little drunk! LOL he assured me that he was pressing the button for the Morphine when needed and it sounded as though it was working :) I will ring again this morning to see how he went through the night. It is a shame at times like this that we live so far away from the hospital and petrol is so expensive.... not so easy just to pop in and visit!

Digital Scrap Garden is very organised this month. A lot of their challenges are already posted for June including my favourite.... the Garden Rainbow Challenge! Karen set us a challenge to create a layout or mini kit using only the colour Green! This was indeed a challenge but I am pleased with the way my Kit turned out and I hope you like it as well!

new Freebie!

I have finally got around to making a little mini kit for the Colour Challenge at DSS. I was a bit worried that I couldnt work with the palette given as it was all shades of purple, but I am pleased with the way the kit turned out, I hope you like it too.

Links to download (NOTE: I have been finding that sometimes Mediafire will kick up an invalid file error, just click your back button on the browser and that should take you to the download button. Very weird, but there it is!)

New Challenges at Inspiration Lane

I almost forgot to post these challenges that I am hosting at Inspiration Lane. I am giving a free Template to use for Template challenge and you can earn points to use as cash in the Store. The Colour Challenge is also up and running again for this month and once again, you can earn points for taking part.

This is my layout for this months Template Challenge.

This is a photo of a Dinosaur Quilt that my 13yo son, Nicholas, made. He started off with the panel and then had to measure and cut the strips for all the borders. He had a friend of ours, Ruth, guiding him and I sewed the back of the binding but that is all the help he got. He did ALL the work himself. I am so very proud of him and he loves it!
I have used DinoSAUR by Sharon Langford Designs. As soon as I saw this kit, I wanted to use it to scrap this photo!.

and this is the swatch for this months Colour Challenge. So hope over to the Forum and get the details and start scrapping!!

Click on the links within the posts or the previews and you will fly over to the right forums. Have fun!

It's that time of the month again....

Two new Challenges have begun over at Inspiration Lane. Actually, a whole heap of new Challenges have begun, but I am here to let you know about the one I host. The Colour Challenge is up and running and so it the Template Challenge. Now, I don't know if you remember, but as I now host the Template Challenge at IL, I won't be giving my Templates away on the Blog any more. However, if you click the link, it will take you to the Forum, where you can download this Template for free. You might even want to go back and participate in the Challenge and earn yourself some Inspiration Lane points that you can put towards purchases in the Store!

I have created a Kit for the Colour Challenge, but will be giving it away in parts over the course of April as it is HUGE! . I have been making an effort to keep my download sizes to no larger than 25Meg (especially for those on slow or intermittent Internet connections such as mine), but this does result in a large number of downloads to completely download the whole kit. So, as this Kit ended up being 10 download files, I thought I would break it up, and, of course, encourage you to return to the Blog often LOL

See what you have to look forward to :) I have mixed it up though, so in each part you will get a couple of papers and some elements. So make sure you keep checking for the next part so that you get all the pieces!

Sorry link no longer available

Link to download Day One

Please leave a comment if you download, I really appreciate them all.

NOTE: I have received a couple of comments of people being unable to download from Mediafire. I too found the same problem when checking my files. This solution worked for me, so give it a try if you are having issues. I found that I couldn't download from Mediafire if I was logged into my Mediafire account, so if this is you as well, make sure you have logged out of your Mediafire account before trying to download the files. This worked for me even on other peoples files that I was unable to download previously, I logged out of my Mediafire account.... and no more issues, found the download file and downloaded successfully.

New freebie - Mar09 CC at PDW

Well, I found another Colour Challenge to take part in and I set to and created this Kit. However, Plain Digital Wrapper won't be benefiting at the moment as I can't post in their Forum, so you guys get it first. Lucky You!! UPDATE: Well, PDW came to the party just before the Mar 31st deadline and I was able to post this kit and layout there. :)

The papers in this kit have been created using my Textures which I posted as a freebie earlier. So, if you were unsure about what they look like, download this kit, check out the papers and then .... come back and download the Textures and give them a go when creating your own papers.

This is the layout I created for the Colour Challenge at PDW which required you to use products from their Store (at least one product) and then recolour if required to follow the swatch supplied. This layout uses items that are not in my Kit.

This is a photo of my eldest daughter on her wedding day. She is so very beautiful and I love this photo of her.

Thanks for looking, don't forget those lovely comments I relish in!

New freebie - Mar09 CC at DSG

I have finally finished my kit for the Mar09 Colour Challenge at Digital Scrap Garden. I love these colours. It was quite funny, there was a gap between making the papers and finishing the kit. I named it "Washed Out" and then noticed the swatch was called "Spring Rain" which I had completely ignored when I started designing :)

There are four links in all so make ure you get them all. Please leave a comment on the Blog if you download, these are what keep me designing those freebies for you.

My layout for the IL Mar09 CC

Here is my layout for the IL Mar09 CC. I have used my "Spring Picnic" kit for this layout and I am pleased with the way it came together.

Friends & Family = FUN

Journalling reads:

Katarapko, a Murray River National Park is located in the Riverland about 180 kilometres from Adelaide. The park is opposite the town of Loxton and is four kilometres south of Berri. Access to the main area of the park is by a sealed road just past the township of Glossop. Other access is gained by crossing the floodplain from either Lower Winkie Road or under the bridge at Berri. Due to the terrain the park is in three distinct sections, which can only be accessed through their separate entrances. The park was formed in 1991 and includes 8,905 hectares with a rich range of habitats. 75% of the area is floodplain and contains many wetlands both permanent and semi permanent. This is an important breeding area for many forms of life including water birds.

Camping in such beautiful surroundings. What could be more perfect! The kids had a ball, the River was gorgeous and it was so peaceful. These are just a few photos of mealtimes whilst we were away.

New freebie - Mar09 CC at SAS

Hi all, hope you are all having a great week, of course I am already halfway through the weekend, but never mind :)

I have finally finished my submission for the Colour Challenge at Stone Accents Studio (SAS). I absolutely loved the colours for this month and it has been a challenge sorely missed over at SAS for some time.

I have also chosen Media Fire to host my files this time. There has been a lot of talk about viruses being downloaded from files shared at 4shared although I, touch wood, have not been affected, poor Pam was wiped out and NOT HAPPY! and rightly so. From what I can gather, it is affecting quite a few people, so I hope that none of you have been adversely affected by downloading my files. Anyway, I thought I would try out Media Fire and see how it goes. if you have any problems downloading, please let me know and I will try to help.

New freebie for Color Challenge at TSG

This cooler weather has done wonders for my creativity :) now, if only I could stop my neck and shoulders from killing me, I would be in scrapbooking heaven LOL

However, the weather has worked in your favour as I have created another freebie kit for you all to enjoy.... and you will enjoy it .... got that!! LOL

I must admit I was stumped when the palette went up at The Scrapping Garden. I couldn't think of anything that it suggested to me, and I do like to have some idea where I'm heading when I start designing something. So I decided I would just make a paper selection and forget about the elements. And I did! but when I had finished the papers, they looked so lonely in the preview, I was compelled to rethink my theme and come up with something. After chatting with my DH, Gary, we started coming up with flowers, but there were no flowers in my papers at all..... then it hit me, the colours reminded me of weeds, in particular the thistle. Gary hopped online to check out pics and came back with the Scotch Thistle and this unforgettable name "Thistle Doo". It was perfect, and now I had a theme to create some elements around.

I searched the Internet for gardening tools and took a few pictures of our gardening tools, and was able to get some nice additions to the kit. I then decided to fill it with lots of different sorts of flowers and vines and so on. I am very happy with the way it turned out in the end, I hope you feel the same way.

As it started life as a paper only kit, there are 16 papers to choose from. As it grew into a full sized kit, 36 elements accompanied those papers!

I hope you enjoy using this as much as I enjoyed putting it together, and don't forget, if you make a layout, please email to cazpamATgmail.com so that I can show it off.

New submission for Colour Challenge at CLD - Feb09

It has finally cooled down here enough to feel like working in the computer. We have had well over two weeks of temperatures over 40C and it has been terrible. Now, we are getting all the smoke haze from Victoria, and, as it is pretty thick here, I can only begin to imagine how terrible it must be for those right in the heart of all this trauma.

I finally finished my mini kit for the latest colour challenge at ColorLine Design. I have called it "Loved" and it is a very similar colour scheme to our Collab "Only Time" (still available, scroll down for info and links).

Password to download is "beloved" without the quotes. Please leave a comment if you download as it does encourage me to keep on creating freebies for you.

I have also created a layout using Kellie Puddy's "A Little Bird Told Me" available here at CLD.

This is a lovely kit, full of soft colours and unusual elements, all of which are gorgeous!

These are a couple of pics of areas in my huge, but very wild, garden.
