New Template freebie

Just popped in to deliver a new freebie before I head off to Adelaide for a couple of weeks. So no new freebie til after the 15th November, but I will have challenges up at DSG, so head over there and check them out, never know what you might find!

This is a photo of a Dinosaur Quilt that my 13yo son, Nicholas, made. He started off with the panel and then had to measure and cut the strips for all the borders. He had a friend of ours, Ruth, guiding him and I sewed the back of the binding but that is all the help he got.

He did ALL the work himself. I am so very proud of him and he loves it!

I have used DinoSAUR by Sharon Langford Designs, originally available from Inspiration Lane. As soon as I saw this kit, I wanted to use it to scrap this photo!.

Sale for November

hey there!! I hope you are all having a great day! it is a little cold here in NSW and very windy. We are trying to clean out the pool and get it ready for Summer, hard to do when it is freezing outside! LOL

Layout created using TM00083 - Love Blooms

This is created using a personal cutter file, TM00083 - Love Blooms by Tina Mansfield of Card-I-ology, on a digital layout.

These are photos of my DH and myself on our Wedding Day, almost 3 yrs ago. I have created this layout in Photoshop and applied Glitter Styles and Bevel and Emboss styles to the parts of the cutter file that I used. I love that there are so many different bits to this file as I was able to use some bits separately, like the lips and the "Always" part of one title as extras on my layout.

Created to show that Cutter files are not just for cutters, but can be used digitally very effectively as well.

New Layout using CD00605

This is my latest layout using CD00605 - Family Frame. This was one of the files available in the last QMC but you still have time to join this QMC which can be found HERE.

This is a photo of my In-Laws, my DH and my son and daughter on a recent visit to our home. This was my last chance for a photo shoot with my daughter as she is now working as an Au Pair in Virginia in the USA. Long way from Australia! My In-Laws just happened to be visiting at the same time, so we had a house full for a few days, it was great!


This file was perfect for this layout! The file includes the rectangle frame that I have used here and the Family title, but as an added bonus, also includes an oval frame as well! The frame around my photo and the "Family" have had styles applied to them.

New freebie Template#2

I have been really busy putting together this layout! It was for a sketch challenge at That's Scrap Inc, which although was for Halloween, I was allowed to create an Autumn layout as we don't celebrate Halloween here in Australia. I love this time of year, and fortunately, Gary had taken some photos earlier in the year of the trees lining the road heading into town. I found a gorgeous paper in my collection that was Autumn colours and a ribbon and a couple of buttons finished it off. The "Autumn Bliss" title is from the Oct09 N'Titled membership at TSI and is by Ducky of Ducky's Designs. Check out her website for lots of cutter file and scrapbooking freebies. It was perfect for this layout! I have also added some leaves that I had created into cutter files and resized some of them to give me my elements.

I am really pleased with the way it turned out, and as my Kindy Glitz order arrived just in time, I was able to add some "bling" to my layout which just finished it off!

To the reason you are here! This template has probably been one of my most downloaded out of my collection so far! I must admit, it is one of my favourites as well.

This is one of my most loved layouts! The photo is of my son and his friend with their "Heads down, Bums up!" looking for treasures on the beach at Brighton in Victoria.

New layout

I have just completed a layout that I was able to use for a couple of challenges on different sites. These are some photos of my daycare children when I was working in childcare, making funny faces. One of the children is showing a genuine emotion and I couldn't resist the picture. However, the other children all made up faces so that they could have their photos taken as well!

I have used the gorgeous DSG Oct09 Collab available HERE and the funny faces are personal cutter files for Shelly's Art Pumpkin Faces available HERE.
