"Welcome Spring" using CD00623

Another gorgeous file being offered in Chris's QMC. This "Nostalgic Streetlight" is just stunning, I love it. I decided to use it as a "Welcome Spring" card which could be used as "Thinking of You" card. I am really pleased with the way this card turned out.

I have used a wood style on the streetlight and a clear acrylic style to simulate the lit lamp.

QP freebie to go with Template4

More layouts as a CT at VDBC

Both Lori (Beloved Keepsakes) and Tina (Card-I-ology Creations) gave away lovely freebies for Veterans Day. As I have been away, I hadn't the opportunity to put them to good use, but I have worked on them this morning and am really pleased with the results.

I have used Lori's "Veteran's Day" and (on side B), Tina's "The Real American Idol". I hope I have done you proud girls :)

Nov09 Sketch Challenge at VDBC

This is my card for the sketch challenge for November in the Forum. I have used CD00499 - Wedding Words2 and one of the doily style mats as supplied for the challenge. Head over to the forum and you can participate in this challenge and also get free files designed by Chris.... so you know they are great!

I have applied embossing styles to the brackets and the "Love" title. The digital kit is one that I designed.

Christmas Card using CD00612

I have designed a Christmas Card for the Nov09 Week3 Challenge that Darcy is hosting. The challenge was to Jazz up the Holidays! I have used Chris's CD00612 - Chilli Pepper to create my card.

I have used glitter styles on the title and the star. I have also embossed the chillis to make them really stand out!

New freebie! Template Four

I'm finally home, but what a homecoming. Our phone is not working and we have had several power failures which is really annoying as it is really hot (over 40C) and no power means no fans!
