New Freebie - Template #6

I hope all my American friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My daughter, who is an Au Pair in Virginia, seems to have had a ball for her first Thanksgiving experience!

We finally got some rain, not a lot and you wouldn't know to look at the countryside, but it did put a few centimetres into the rainwater tank that feeds the house, so that was nice.

This is a very simple Template, but does leave you plenty of room for your own creativity to come through!

It has been bought to my attention that the frame in this template is not my creation. That is correct, I have used a frame as supplied by Gunhild Storeide . I have given credit to Gunhild in my TOU but hope that stating credit on my Blog will appease those who believe me to be stealing. I only use CU allowable items in my creations and credit is always given in my TOU. I have also removed the links to this template. Sorry

This is a Christmas card I have designed using TM00092 - All I Want. This is a personal cutter file but I wanted to show how these files can also be used digitally really well.

New Template freebie - #5

Hey there, I finally have some Internet connection, so while I do..... a new freebie!

We have had power cuts, stinking hot days (over 45C) and catastrophic fire warnings for days now. Today, it has cooled down a little bit, but we really need some rain. If we don't get some soon, we will be looking at buying in more water just to live!






This is a layout featuring my gorgeous son messing about with some little fishes he and his Dad caught. However, whilst play acting eating the fish, it slipped! and he nearly ended up eating one for real!! LOL

Ewe Are Loved - Card-I-ology Creations

Using Card-I-ology Creations "Ewe Are Loved" file to ceate a "Happy Anniversary" card. This is a personal cutter file which is currently available for FREE at Designing With DieCuts !

I have applied a mulberry paper style to the lamb, which has turned out to be very effective! I have added stitching across the paper ribbon and added a glitter style to the title "Happy Anniversary"

"Welcome Spring" using CD00623

Another gorgeous file being offered in Chris's QMC. This "Nostalgic Streetlight" is just stunning, I love it. I decided to use it as a "Welcome Spring" card which could be used as "Thinking of You" card. I am really pleased with the way this card turned out.

I have used a wood style on the streetlight and a clear acrylic style to simulate the lit lamp.

More layouts as a CT at VDBC

Both Lori (Beloved Keepsakes) and Tina (Card-I-ology Creations) gave away lovely freebies for Veterans Day. As I have been away, I hadn't the opportunity to put them to good use, but I have worked on them this morning and am really pleased with the results.

I have used Lori's "Veteran's Day" and (on side B), Tina's "The Real American Idol". I hope I have done you proud girls :)

Nov09 Sketch Challenge at VDBC

This is my card for the sketch challenge for November in the Forum. I have used CD00499 - Wedding Words2 and one of the doily style mats as supplied for the challenge. I have applied embossing styles to the brackets and the "Love" title. The digital kit is one that I designed.

Christmas Card using CD00612

I have designed a Christmas Card for the Nov09 Week3 Challenge that Darcy is hosting. The challenge was to Jazz up the Holidays! I have used Chris's CD00612 - Chilli Pepper to create my card.

I have used glitter styles on the title and the star. I have also embossed the chillis to make them really stand out!

New freebie! Template Four

I'm finally home, but what a homecoming. Our phone is not working and we have had several power failures which is really annoying as it is really hot (over 40C) and no power means no fans!
