Vote for me!

Hi, I have applied for a position on the CT team of The Scrapping Garden. Voting has now started for week one and I need the votes :) So how about following the link and heading on over to my submission and then check this link to get to the voting. I am Pedal Pusher #9. Actually, you should look at all the submissions 'cos they are all great! (but only vote for me okay.... shhhhh!). Hurry though as voting for the first week is almost over. Thanks

Some more news I forgot!

Not sure how I managed to forget this news!! I have been accepted as a Designer on the Color Line team. I am a bit behind because of my computer woes, but hopefully soon I will have items in the store for sale. I am really excited, one to be accepted by others as good enough to join them, but also as this site is Australian, just like me!! I will update here to let you know the big day so keep a lookout! As a result of this, all my freebies currently on my Blog, excepting the ABC QP Album, will be removed by the evening of Sunday 11th May. So, if you want them, get 'em now, before they are gone. However, if you do miss out, I am hoping to add them all to my store eventually.

At Last!! New pages for your ABC Album

Well, you wouldnt want the week my family has just had! We developed a nasty noise in our auto transmission last week and have been trying to find out what was wrong. Unfortunately, it is one of those intermittent noises that only you can hear and the mechanic thinks you're an nit 'cos he can't hear a thing LOL you know the situation, you take the sick child to the Drs and they tear around the waiting room in perfect health, same deal here! Now it looks as though we need a new transmission for our 4-wheeled drive, $3000 - $5000 no less ! Then to add to my woes, my laptop had a fit and caught a virus. Slowed down to the point where I could compute faster than it was, and I am not that clever LOL So, after three days work, I finally have it all wiped and reloaded with almost everything I need at least, enough to get some work done!

So here are the next two pages for your ABC QP Album. I hope you like them.

The next letters in the ABC Album

Hi all, thank you to all those people that have taken the time to leave comments, either on my Blog or on 4shared, I really appreciate them all.

Here are the next pages for your Album, and an admission..... Have you noticed that I have been making these pages up as pairs :) Only trouble is, I counted the Front Page as the first page to match with the "A" page. Now, if you wanted just to grab the occasional page then no problems about them matching, but if you were doing an ABC album and using the Front Page on it's own at the beginning, then there will not be a page to match the "A" if you match the other pages in pairs. I wonder if I am explaining this well, 'cos even I am getting confused now LOL

Okay, try again.... Front Page - Cover; "B" page is left hand side and "C" right hand side so that they are paired, "D" left hand side matching "E" on the right hand side and so on. So the "A" page is on its own with no matching page. Anyway, enough rambling, where I am going with all this is that I made a "Facing Page" to match the "A" page. You could use is as an intro page, with dates, journaling etc, or use the space to put in a large photo of the person the book was made for , or perhaps a photo of the person that had made the Album with a dedication. I hope this is clear, if not please leave a comment and I'll try to explain it better :)

Next 2 pages for your ABC Album

Here are the next two quickpages for the ABC Album. There have been quite a few downloads so far, I am pleased that you like my work. I did want to say though that my early postings for freebies are on a time limit now as I will remove those links soon. So, if there is something that you like, go get it now, cos it maybe too late if you leave downloading for too long!

I also wanted to remind those of you downloading the ABC pages that these are designed using pieces from my last kit designed for the colour challenge at SAS. So if you are looking for things to jazz up the pages a little, grab the Elements Packs, as they will match the pages perfectly :)

Two more pages for your ABC QP Album

Well, firstly I must apologise to Teriann for not linking her name with the site where I bought her great ABC Templates. Rush over there and check out her work, it is great! So anyways, I bought these templates from Polka Dot Potato and the link will (or should if I've done it properly) take you to Teriann's store. Thanks for the comment on the pages so far Teriann, and in answer to your question, I have used the photoshop version.

Here are two more pages for your album. Enjoy, and remember the password is "AlphAbet" and note the different letters.

I was thinking of ways that these pages could be used. One lady wanted to use the "A" page for her grandson whose name began with "A". So that is one way, you could just wait until I post the relevant letter and then use it as a "name" page. A second way to use them would be to create an ABC Album for someone where each page shows something that is important to, or relevant to them. For a small child this could be as simple as a descriptive word such as "A - Adorable, Angel, Asleep" and so on. The pages could also be used to make an ABC book for a child that held pictures of objects that they were familiar with. This can be a great early reading tool as children recognise the picture and then learn to reconise the printed word. For example: "A - Apple, Alligator, Aeroplane" and so on. As soon as I am a bit more organised...... haha...... I will post some ABC lists and links to find some more ideas, so stayed tuned!
